McCotter Energy Systems began as McCotter & Sons, Inc. founded by Howard S. McCotter and his two sons Thomas & Lawrence. The company began selling coal stoking equipment and has evolved with the industry now providing the most comprehensive line of premium HVAC and commercial boiler room systems in the region.
In 2006, the company name was changed to McCotter Energy Systems, Inc.

Smart Energy Lab
The facility is home to a complete training facility with operating boilers. The Smart Energy Learning lab is a one of a kind training facility where service technicians can be trained and work hands on with the units in operation.
